The Shimano Torium Reels were basically made for jigging. Their high-speed retrieval rate is their selling point, which allows 117cm of line retrieval per crank, giving you the ability to rip in jigs from fast chasing fish like Kingfish and other pelagics.
The oversized clicker mechanism also allows the reels to be used when bait fishing too which is handy.
