This versatile lure can be worked effectively with different actions. A “stop-and-go” action with a straight retrieve allows the lure to avoid snags and structure when paused for short periods. A twitching action can also be effective, which throws the lure from side to side.

Its elongated lip bounces along the bottom and gives off vibrations to its surroundings with
each tap of the bottom.
