Jackson Pin Tail Sawara Tune Lure

On the back of the Pin Tail Sagoshi Tune’s popularity and the need for a larger model, Jackson have now designed the Pin Tail Sawara Tune Lure, which contains all the performance features of the Pin Tail Sagoshi Tune but in two larger sizes.

The Jackson Pin Tail Sawara Tune Lures are a heavyweight casting lure designed for long casts and fast retrieves i.e. when chasing pelagic species like kingfish, mackerel, tuna etc from the shore. The name Sawara, which translates to ‘Spanish Mackerel, is a testament to this.

The Jackson Pin Tail Sawara Tune can be used in combination with the smaller Pin Tail Sagoshi Tune for different purposes and for targeting various-sized fish. When you’re using the Sawara Tune, think bigger fish and bigger casts, all with the same tight action as the smaller Sagoshi Tune.

The wobbling action of the Pin Tail Sawara Tune is only felt at higher speed retrieves, if you’re not winding fast enough you simply won’t get the lure working. This is due to the sharp contoured edges of the lure, which are specifically angled to work at high speeds.
