Alvey 65GD Rockhopper Reel

Named the Rockhopper and designed to survive this type of activity. Metal side cast system on the ultra tough graphite back will take any drop on a rock. Fitted with a fibreglass injection moulded spool to withstand high line pressures from strong fish. Direct wind allows total control of your fish and you can winch it right up the rock face. A smooth multi-plate clutch controlled by a metal star nut protects your line when a big fish runs with your hands off the handles. The reel is fitted with large comfortable knob handles to allow you to winch large fish up the rocks and fight the fish. The smooth clutch is a multi-plate design with polished brass plates combined with PTFE coated woven glass washer which can also withstand very high temperatures. The fish alert is also on the back and an on/off switch for the anti-reverse system. The fish alert switch is engaged when leaving the rod and reel unattended to warn you of a fish taking line. Left handed reels are available.
