The Alvey 40GDZ Adventurer Reel will make for an ideal light boat or Estuary reel for adults and will still handle the harsh treatment of young anglers in a sandy and saltwater environment. The 40GDZ is perfect for adults or the more advanced junior angler that wants to let their fish take some line under clutch pressure (anti-reverse switch on). The Alvey 40GDZ reel also has a fish alert sound to tell your line is being taken.  You can also select no anti-reverse and no noise if required. Reels work for right-handed or left-handed use.
